GPS GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM O is for locating and / or find the position of an object whether it is standing or moving precise data only failing of centimeters to a few meters.

This system not only serves to locate any object but also serves as a guide to reach a certain destination, user can use it to get to a restaurant from a cart if you wish as well to guide a missile to that place, which will not do us, but if they do or can do the military.

How does it work? The basic idea is that if the user know the distance to three satellites, besides knowing the position of the satellites with respect to some coordinate system can determine the user coordinate solving a system of equations.

Why three satellites in theory? Three user because the coordinates are three (could think as (x, y, z) or latitude, longitude and vertical height). In reality, at least 4 satellites are needed to determine the position, because the "account" that enables distances measured time is involved in the satellites. Since this time we know with some uncertainty, this adds another variable to the problem and hence at least 4 satellites are needed.

The GPS Navigators can be classified into two groups:

•  Browsers based on a dedicated GPS. In this group we find browsers series including factory on      many cars and fixed are normally mounted on the vehicle and portable browsers based on a receiver dedicated GPS, which can be removed and put on at will and usually require no installation .

• 2nd GPS Navigators based on a PDA. This is a new concept browser that rests on three pillars: a PDA, a specific GPS receiver for PDA and a suitable program. This revolutionary new concept presents numerous advantages over other browser.
